Position: Chief Engineer (25156206)
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the entire Engineering department, including all maintenance, repair, and plant operations.
- Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive preventative maintenance program for all resort facilities.
- Lead, mentor, and schedule the engineering team to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Manage departmental budgets, capital expenditure projects, and control energy consumption.
- Ensure all operations are compliant with local regulations, Marriott brand standards, and safety protocols.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Chief Engineer in a 5star luxury resort, preferably in a remote or island location.
- Strong technical knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, water treatment, and generator systems.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and organizational skills.
- Experience in managing largescale projects and departmental budgets.
- Indepth knowledge of safety, security, and environmental regulations.
- Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong problemsolving and communication skills.
