Position: Chef de Partie Main Kitchen

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a specific section of the Main Kitchen, ensuring high quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Train and supervise commis chefs and kitchen helpers in the section.
  • Maintain strict hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards (HACCP).
  • Manage inventory and stock control for the assigned section, minimizing waste.
  • Collaborate with the Sous Chef and Executive Chef on menu development and daily specials.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie, preferably in a 4 or 5 star hotel.
  • Strong culinary skills and expertise in Indonesian and Western cuisine.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
  • In depth knowledge of kitchen operations, hygiene standards, and cost control.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment.
  • Formal culinary education is preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
